What is Crack Sealing?

Crack Sealing is a cost-effective way to perform preventative maintenance on your property to extend the asphalt longevity and reduce long-term repair costs.

Crack sealing is the process of placing an adhesive sealant into cracks on the pavement surface, preventing the infiltration of moisture and non-compressible materials into the pavement. It is a cost-effective pavement preservation treatment that can slow pavement deterioration and extend pavement life by three to five years.

When to Perform Crack Sealing?

Crack sealing should be performed before a pavement becomes too distressed, ideally to contain cracks before they become too big. Crack Sealing can be performed from Spring to Fall.

How is it Completed?

All areas to be sealed will be cleaned of any dirt, grass or other deleterious substances that will reduce adhesion. There are several crack seal placement configurations. There are also combination configurations for jobs where routing throughout is not possible.
